Edward Monckton

Edward Monckton, 20, has just finished his first year at UCL studying History of Art.

Having introduced Jimmy to mischief in the former Yugoslavia as a young teen, Ed has jumped at the opportunity for more while raising money for two thoroughly worthy causes at the same time. Ed passed his driving test on the 23rd of May with 14 minor faults....

Max Firman

Max is also 20 and studying aeronautical engineering at Bristol University. He is a keen sailor and is currently trying for his full gliding license. Max went to school with Ed where they skilfully perfected the art of getting in and out of trouble. Max has his driver's license though it took three tries which he claims is not unusual.

Charles Oliver

Charles Oliver, 20, spends most of his time gazing at the stars studying Astrophysics at University College London, in the hay on the Cresta or working behind the bar in 151.

After very little persuasion Charles took a seat in the taxi on this 8,000 mile magical mystery tour. Charles is our resident linguist/spiv and will hopefully negotiate us out of any bribes or prison cells, furthering our efforts to raise sacks of cash for Mercy Corps and Help for Heroes.

Spiritual Advisor - Jimmy Walker

Jimmy Walker, 68, lives in Bronxville, NY, traveled the world for 26 years as a correspondent for ABC News. Jimmy will be joining us from Turkmenistan for the last hard push. He still has enough rocket fuel left to venture into the unknown.

He says it's time to say thank you by raising money for the fabulous charity Mercy Corps that he got to know while teaching journalism in Mongolia - and to give his wife a respite from his retirement. This mad plan was Jimmy's idea.
